The site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which caches its files, provides HTTPS encryption and protects it against attacks. Your IP address and the technical details of your connection pass through Cloudflare's servers in Europe and the United States, where they are kept for a limited time in technical logs. Cloudflare acts on our behalf as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and its certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. It also hides the site's e-mail addresses from harvesting robots, using a small script served from this same domain, with no cookie or tracker. On the OEM project form pages, and only there, we also use its Cloudflare Turnstile service, which filters out automated submissions: for this it receives your IP address and technical data from your browser, and it stores nothing on your device.

Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, diagrams and technical data on this site belong to Établissements Velox. The brands mentioned — MACH1, Ryde, Shimano and others — remain the property of their respective owners.

Cookies and trackers: none

This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage and loads no external script. No analytics, no ad network, no social button following you from site to site. The language you pick travels in the page address, never on your device. No consent banner is shown, because there is nothing to consent to.

The wheel-building video only loads after you click, from youtube-nocookie.com. Until you click, YouTube receives nothing.

Personal data

The site collects data in one place only: the OEM project enquiry form. The rim configurator also has fields — name, phone, email — but they are neither stored nor sent: they are written into the PDF form you download, and disappear as soon as you leave the page.

• Data — company, brand, country, surname, first name, role, e-mail address, telephone, and the project description you write.
• Purpose — handling your enquiry and sending you a quotation.
• Legal basis — pre-contractual steps taken at your request, GDPR article 6(1)(b).
• Recipient — Établissements Velox alone. No transfer to third parties, no resale, nothing sent outside the European Union — apart from the technical transit through Cloudflare described under Hosting.
• Retention — three years from our last exchange, then deletion.

An order placed on velox.fr falls under that site's own privacy policy, separate from this page.
